Manly Monday
This is another Thank You card I made for the wonderful Priest who left Good Shepherd parish. We gave him this card after the party so I didn't get to see his reaction and I wondered what he would think of the sentiment, "is there no limit to your AWESOMENESS?" from the Big News Stamp Set on pg. 68. I heard he liked it!

Manly Monday on Tuesday
The new Catalogue has some really wonderful stamp sets including Traveler that has great images. I love the new DSP as well. The colours I used that coordinate with Lullaby Designer Series Paper are Baked Brown Sugar, Costal Cabana and Whisper White. Surprising that the paper called Lullaby has several sheets that are perfect for masculine cards.
Do you want a new catalogue. Give me a call so I can get one to you and please come to my New Catalogue Kick Off Free BOGO event June 23rd 7 - 9 pm.

Manly Monday
Another Manly Monday Card. I really love coming up with these cards and I often ask my boys if they are truly man cards? Nic really liked this one.
I used a Basic Black base with a layer of that wonderful Baked Brown Sugar embossed with the Chevron Embossing Folder. Love the Modern Medley Designer Series Paper #126926 and Chalk Talk Stamp Set #130631 stamped with Black Stazon. The absolute awesome 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon # (cut in three strips to make a thinner accent) which is on sale this week - adds that rustic touch.

This Cascading Card is one of 3 projects we did at our last Stampers Club. We made our own designer paper with stamps and ink but it also looks lovely using Designer Series Paper (DSP).
To create our own designer paper we used the new "In Colors" 2013-15 (which I love) on a Very Vanilla base. Flower Shop Bundle (stamp set and punch) 130939 in wood was the stamp set used to create our paper. I've always loved making my own designer paper because you can use any colours to match your project or event. I used Lee Ann's tutorial for the easy cutting instructions and there are some wonderful samples there also.
Just to let you know that my Stampers Clubs are beginning again next week so call/email me to join - you'll love it!

We had fun at the BOGO
At the end of June I hosted my yearly BOGO Event! We had lots of fun making these two cards using the new "In Colors" (I have to say that I find it very hard to type Color without the "u" but since it is a trade mark it has to be U-Less) and new stamp sets. I just love the new Catalogue and new In Colors! I had lots of retired products for sale and everyone loved getting free Stampin' Up! stuff when they purchased the retired items!
The cards on the right were made using the Morning Meadow Hostess Stamp set with the new Pansy Punch 130698 (also available in a bundle with the Flower Shop Stamp Set pg. 95). Card base Tempting Turquoise and then a layer of Soft Sky stamped with the same ink, Whisper White top layer punched with our Circle punches, Melon Mambo ink to stamp the flower & the sentiment from another awesome Hostess Set - Banner Greetings. We used Dimensionals to pop up the top layer to give depth.
For the second card we used the Designer Series Paper Stack "In Color" paper punched with our Square Punch and layered on Very Vanilla and then Baked Brown Sugar. We used Baked Brown Sugar Ink and the new stamp set Label Love which comes in a Bundle with the Artisan Label Punch pg. 32 and saves us 15%! We used the Fancy Fan embossing folder and stamped the sentiment (from yet another Hostess Set - Express Yourself - and punched it out with the same Artisan Label Punch.
It was great stamping with everyone and I hope to stamp with you soon.
