Manly Monday

I pulled out a stamp set I haven't used in a while to make this weeks Manly Monday card.  Pennant Parade with the matching punch. I used Crumb Cake as the base and then Night of Navy, Baja and Naturals Ivory.  I thought these were wonderful manly colours but my boy (17) said it looks like a baby shower card (a light blue is really out for guys these days - from the expert?).  My other boy (15) thought it needed a sentiment more that just "wish big" so I got out Itty Bitty Banners and the coordinating framelits for the Happy Birthday. Love the Big Shot and especially the Chevron Embossing Folder!  I also think flags are manly.   I'll save this one and give it to Zac for his birthday:) but maybe I should add more Baja first!
