The Christmas Card Class

I had the best time at my Christmas Extravaganza Class last Saturday.  It was so wonderful making cards,  gift card holders and cookies with my customers.  Thanks to everyone who came and made my day so great.

I love, love, love the Rejoicing With You stamp set - again thanks Linda.  Look at this card I designed.  I just love the vintage feel to it with the lace embossing, crumb cake base and tule.  I ran out of brads so I used a punch of Champagne Glimmer paper with a pearl on top!
Have you used the Illuminate Stamp Pad yet.  It goes on in one stamp and is a silvery finish.  It is terrifically easy and makes a quick card really nice especially when it is snowflakes like the Snowflake Soiree Stamp Set. I also used the Snow Flurry Bigz Die and Silver Glimmer Paper. Check all of these item out in the Holiday Catalogue.

Another very simple card we did for the stamp a stack using the Watercolour Winter stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue.  Very easy using Always Artichoke and Expresso ink on a Vanilla base.  A little sponging, glitter and just stamp the sentiment from Greetings of the Season right on the card or use the framelits for another affect.

Last but not least is Rosalie's card from the Regional Convention in Hamilton this past summer.  It was chosen by Shelli for her favourite swap card.  It is so nice to be a part of a team who share their ideas so readily.  I used Jolly Bingo Bits and the Sentiments of the Season for the stamp sets and the postage punch.
